Dare To Dream Life As One Direction

At the moment I am reading dare to dream life as one direction.

This book interests me because it is the boys view of getting famous and how they did it. It also is quite weird to be told how people's lives can change just by going on  x factor and becoming famous.
This  book can also be quite funny because the boys talk about how it's weird that they have girls chasing after them. At the moment I'm only half way through reading Harry's point of view on the whole getting famous thing.
He has said a lot about what it was liking being in the finals of x factor and what sort of funny things him and the boys got up to when they were staying in the finals with all the other contestants.
He mentions things that he has a habit of doing and all the things all the fans sent them.
He talks a lot about when he was a child and what his dreams where he says at one point in the book 'i always used to love singing. The first song i new all the words to was "girl of my best friend" by Elvis'.

what's the point in reading when nearly every book is now a film?

Recently my English class have been told to blog about reading, the thing is I don’t like reading. The only thing I read is magazines just to find out gossip.

When i was a child i used to love reading, but now i just watch the film version it’s so much easier and more exciting. But not everyone agrees...
I don't think there is a point in reading books when there's a film version that is just the same.
